Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Advisory Services, this person must be multi-faceted, flexible, extraordinarily technically proficient, and have a high level of skill in database design.  This person would serve as a resource to assist in the building and/or expanding of tools for end users.  Duties will include designing, implementing and maintaining databases of large amounts of information for multiple users, optimizing performance, maintaining data security, backups / recoveries, and maintaining overall database management integrity.  This person will also assist in gathering and documenting system requirements, enhancements on internal operational initiatives necessary to support multiple business units, including design support on existing web assets and applications and including the education of staff/users.

Ideally this person will have already provided similar services in a professional service firm environment with demonstrated increasing responsibility and success.  The ideal candidate will have also demonstrated the following:

• Expertise with SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL back-end databases
• The ability to support applications written in Ruby on Rails
• Expertise with PHP, Javascript, Excel, Visual Basic and Crystal Support
• Experience and ability to train end users
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
